So, I’m actually planning to be on Thurs’ call, so I’m going to try to be more succinct and clear about my questions and post them here rather than replying on the Tues thread.

          1. Timing for calls.
            A) How long do you recommend we make available for the calls we are scheduling from LinkedIn contacts?  And, what type of “script”/plan are we following?  I had thought it was the one referred to in Mindset and Momentum module, but that would take more than the 5-10 minutes I think you were suggesting @kent-littlejohn on Tues call.
            B) How to best handle giving time options in the LinkedIn 4 questions?  I had been offering two time slots, in response to a “yes” to talk, “Thursday at 10:15 or 11 EST” for example.  But then it is 1 day+ and I have not heard a response.  Is there a better way to handle this so that I don’t have to save spots for folks who may not be available at that time or even respond ever?  And, again, how much time to save?  @negeen-dargahi had recommended I ask this on Tues’ call to you, Kent.

            2) In LinkedIn 4 questions and the following call
            A) Are we meant to focus on our “avatar,” I had thought it was more anyone.  But this sounds like I might be confused from Tuesday?
            B) If I have a 4 questions conversation with someone who is less than a fit and I can tell that before it starts, I’m a bit confused, again, about what “script” to use…and, as I mentioned, which of 4 questions to use if I feel like it might not be a fit right at the start?
            C) What is the “standard” LinkedIn connection you recommended, Kent, on the phone to use first?  I don’t se that on LinkedIn.  Or are you talking about the HEC programs “Great to connect!”?

I think that summarizes things  more-clearly.

Hope to be on Thurs’ call unless it doesn’t work with Joey/my schedule.

          Thanks so much!,
          Kathryn

Thanks for the reply!  I’m re-posting questions you recommended asking as I wasn’t sure if that was what you were suggesting or if what I posted before was enough to have before Thurs’ call.  So, I have posted again below.   However, the answers you gave were definitely a great start, Negeen!  Thank you!  I have a call tomorrow morning (my first that confirmed the times I offered), so I’m excited to do that! and planning to “wing things” a bit and use aspects of the longer script we have if/as it’s a fit as well.

            1) For phone calls:

            A) How long do you recommend we make available for the calls we are scheduling from LinkedIn 4 questions–15-30 as suggested above?

            2) In LinkedIn 4 questions and the following call
            A) Are we meant to focus on our “avatar,” I had thought it was more anyone.  But this sounds like I might be confused from Tuesday?-I am still confused given what was shared on Tues where focusing on the avatar was brought up, and the responses given to me above in this thread.   I agree with the above that the anxiety might not come up, but, for example, would I be focusing on only women of a certain age who would be more of my “avatar”?
            B) I still am having some trouble finding a “standard” follow-up that fits well with the responses to “What’s your core focus this year?”
            and
            C) What is the “standard” LinkedIn connection you recommended, Kent, on the phone to use first?  I was confused what this was.
When I refer to things that came up on Tues’ call it was all in response to the first caller’s question.

            Thank you!,
            Kathryn

Need some help with my 4Q.  I thought that should be 15-20 min max, but every day I spent 2-3 hours.   Something is wrong.  Is it the wrong audience I connected with, is it the way I response, is it the wrong questions that I asked… There’s even this guy the conversation over the call is ok, but he later send me whole bunch of pictures and than disappears after.   That trigger me going back from the beginning of the course what’s the point for each steps.

I know if I have the right mindset, I’ll usually figure it out myself.  But…

People don’t know what they don’t know.

Is there a way that I can send you or post couple of the conversations so maybe you can help me find out what I don’t know so I can speed up the process?

I need to go for my next appointment, I’ll come back to this video after.

              Thanks.
