          Below is my feedback:

          Sue, do you have a better profile photo? The one you have has a yellow tint and is a bit low quality. Consider taking a better photo in better lighting.

          You also need a background photo. Our graphic designer, Lindsey, can create one for you. Just send her an email and tell her a little about your field of business and she can create something better.

          When you get a new profile photo, she can also add a white background for you.

          They detail HOW they help their clients, WHO they work with, etc.

          Please make sure you watch Halle’s video called: “BENEFITS MARKETING and BENEFITS MARKETING II videos in the Transformational Business Strategy module (bottom middle module on your MAIN DASHBOARD – turquoise with a bullseye) video index is to the right of the video window, in alphabetical order.

          There’s far too much emphasis in here on YOU and not enough on THEM – these videos will help you see why it’s important to make it so much more about them!

          You could start your summary off asking 3 short and sweet and POWERFUL pain point questions!

          You also need a better call to action. How about this:

          If you’re ready for _______ then give me a call TODAY at _______ or message me here on LinkedIn to see if we’re a good fit!

            As I mentioned in my original post, “I did email Lindsey yesterday and request my background photo.”, I have contacted Lindsey to request my background photo, so hopefully that is in the works.

            For my profile photo, I had added one of their filters. I have changed the photo (uploaded a better resolution) and not added a filter. Is it ok now?

            I looked at both of the profiles you referenced. They are both realtors looking for new clients.

            That is not my business. I am wanted to sell something TO realtors. Do you have any examples of other businesses selling services to realtors?

            I will listen the Benefits vids, hopefully later today.

              Hey, @suzanne-finley – thanks for pointing that out about the 2 Realtor profiles. @negeen-dargahi and @amanda-hendrickson will look for other examples in different industries so that we can offer a more diverse group to you as examples.

              HOWEVER, you are selling services, just the same as Realtors. So don’t get hung up on their specifics.  Look for the FLOW of their profiles – the pattern that Negeen has pointed out to you in the template.  Your headline is flat as-is. In addition to the Benefits Marketing videos, please also watch the video on Positioning, which will help you consider yourself differently when you begin this rewrite.

                I have updated my profile and attempted to follow the direction in the feedback and the videos.

                The 2 links provided look pretty much like they are “cut-n-paste” of each other.

                The main “Call to Action” at this point is to have a new potential subscriber view the demo. Even if they message me, I would direct them to the demo, which hopefully they will like and sign up. So, the business model is quite different than a realtor looking for new clients. I added a link to the demo site in the “Link” area, which works if the user clicks on the “View”.

                When I sign up for this program, Kevin assured that my business model was a good fit for this program, but now I am wondering if it is.

                Thanks for your help, I hope we can make this work.

                  Thank you so much for sharing your concerns and I do apologize for the confusion with the feedback you received!

                  I want to address what you mentioned about the call to action before I give you feedback on your profile.

                  When you have a call to action that directs them to go to your website, view the demo, choose a plan, and then sign up… this cancels out ANY possible call/message or interaction with your perfect client to see if they’re even a good fit.

                  It’s very impersonal and creates zero communication between you and your potential client.

                  Ideally, Sue, when you ask them to message you in your call to action… this will create a dialogue so you can get them on the phone with you ASAP… this is where you use your 4 questions from the program so you can get them on the phone and qualify them… THEN you can direct them over to your demo if they are interested in moving forward.

                  Does this make sense?

                  Even after you tell them to message/call you in your call to action, please feel free to have your website + demo link provided. You just want them to take action in contacting you!

                  @halle-eavelyn, please let me know if I missed anything.

                    If they are a realtor, they are qualified. They are not really someone I will “work with”. They subscribe, set up their account, via their dashboard, enter their agent info via their dashboard, and create their showcases.
                    I want to have 300 – 5k subscribers @  $15-$30 per month per subscriber (which I discussed when I signed up). There are subscriber models all over the internet where no phone call is needed. I am not selling a service like I am hearing about in the training that costs $$$k per client, so I am concerned that my business model isn’t a good fit for your model, but I will give it a try. I guess if I can talk enough realtors, some will sign up.

                    That said, I appreciate your feedback and input on my profile.

                      Re. your business:  YES, you are an AWESOME FIT for this program!! Don’t get discouraged – we are just wanting your profile to be perfect for you!

                      I feel like you should get on the live coaching call with Kent and me and the team this week to talk about that subscription model.  I am certain it can work, and the price is certainly reasonable.  I just feel like you want to get people on the phone at first, UNLESS you already have this as a viable business, have all the kinks worked out, etc. I took a look at your new client intake form, and it seems like this is a new business venture for you (CONGRATS) so I’d like to see you talk to folks FIRST before making this decision to make it totally hands-free. That said, I do feel like you can automate it once you get all the feedback to make sure the system is working the way you want it to. The coaching call schedule is tomorrow and Thursday and both calls are posted in the main PINNED POST on each forum (subject line ALL CALL INFO)

                      As for your profile, you are totally getting there!! I went ahead as a courtesy and did a low-level edit on it.  We don’t normally do this, but I wanted to go the extra mile for you because you’ve had the trouble with your background photo, etc.

                      Next, in the below profile, I’ve made some specific suggestions where I think you will need to SHOW RESULTS.  Like: CLAIM: this is easy. RESULT: It only takes 15 minutes per property.  CLAIM: supercharge your marketing.  RESULTS: ?? [replace YYY and ZZZ below]

                      Don’t tell the client HOW, tell them the END RESULT.  You’ll know when you’ve reached that when you can no longer ask HOW because you already told them.  Make sense? Also watch my videos: Benefits Marketing I & II, which will inspire you and also explain all this in more detail (they’re about 6 min each). All my videos are in the Transformational Business Strategy module (bottom middle module on your MAIN DASHBOARD – turquoise with a bulls eye) video index is to the right of the video window, in alphabetical order.

                      YES this is more work, BUT it will help make the clients see why they need to spend $30/mo without even talking to you!  Which is what you want.

                      One note on your CTA: @negeen-dargahi is RIGHT about everything she told you.  And…I get your desire to start getting these people signed up without having to talk to them.  BUT at this point, until we talk with you and agree otherwise, I really feel like as a startup you will want to interact with them first.  It will train you as to what works and what doesn’t so you can start to automate.  Also, you had about 6 CTAs, offering them all those ways to get in touch.  What I suggest is that you 1) Use the below for now.  2) Once they have the call booked, THEN direct them to your demo and ask them to watch it before you get them on the call.  So after your Q4, when they have given you their number and arranged a time, you can write once more: Great!  Looking forward to our call tomorrow at 2pm. Please take a look at my 5 minute demo first, because it will help make the most of our call time. [LINK]

                      Remember that they may not yet know WHY they are even calling you – there’s a lot of networking on LinkedIn.  You MUST build the relationship for them to want to spend even that $15 a month with you. Your Trojan Horse questions will bridge that gap.

                        What is a “CTA”? You referred to it a couple of times, but I am not understanding what that.

                        It does not take “15 min” to set up a showcase. It takes a couple of hours to do a good job with one. Writing a good description for the property, plus the captions and descriptions for the photos…2-3 hours. Some agents are going to say they are “too busy”.

                        I have a listing that I am going set up a showcase for tomorrow. It is a listing in my office. Maybe I need to get have a few successes with this, so I have some “results”.

                        I sent some connection requests today, some realtors and some not. I got 3 responses, but no realtors.

                        Don’t tell the client HOW, tell them the END RESULT. You’ll know when you’ve reached that when you can no longer ask HOW because you already told them. Make sense?                         I understand what you are saying about the calls. I don’t like it, but I see where I will probably have to give it a shot. People sign up for subscriptions regularly without talking to anyone, so that is where I am wanting to take this.

                            I realized last night as I was going to sleep that “CTA” means “Call To Action”. I have removed a couple of those from my linkedin profile. I got the photo back from Lindsey and am uploading it now. She is working on the banner.

                            I have a couple of questions about getting connections and then messaging them. I will submit those questions for the Thurs call.

                            I incorporated Halle’s feedback into my profile, so please review it again and see if any additional changes are needed.
