LinkedIn background file

Lindsey updated my background and sent me a file to insert.  I am a little confused how to put that background into my LinkedIn profile photo.  Could you walk me through the steps so I can insert the background to LinkedIn photo?

Hi @todd-blank! Thank you for your patience and my apologies on the late reply!

Your profile photo would ideally have a white background (this is separate from a banner image that is the big photo behind your profile photo)!

To add a profile photo:
Click the Me icon at the top of your LinkedIn homepage.
Click View profile.
Click on the Camera icon on your introduction card.
From the Add photo pop-up window, you can:
Follow the prompts to take a new photo or upload one.
Click Save photo.

For your banner image, here is how you can upload the file that Lindsey created for you:

To add a background photo:
Click the Me icon at the top of your LinkedIn homepage.
Click View profile.
Click the Camera icon on the top right corner of your introduction card.
Click Upload photo to select an image from your computer, and click Open.
Click Apply.
