        Hi @negeen-dargahi @kent-littlejohn @matt-barcus

        1. I was trying to connect on a contact and by his name was “2nd”

When I tried to message hime this was the error statement i got

“There was an issue sending your InMail, please try again.”

I tried several times but kept getting the same message.

        Whats happening?

        2. How do I connect with a contact who has a lock symbol by the MESSAGE button?

        Thanks for your help.

          Hi @negeen-dargahi

I figured out #2. From what Kent said on the phone I did not initially understand him  :  )

Hi @maura-bain-2 – which version of LinkedIn do you have?

You get a certain amount of InMails per month with a paid subscription.  The amount varies based on what plan you have (LinkedIn Business Premium vs. Sales Navigator for example).  They reset every month, so once you use them, you have to wait until the 1st to get more.

            That could be the problem!

I also believe there is a way to check how many you have left – i’ll have to look into this once I know your type of LinkedIn plan.
