Hi @jody-miller! This is a good start on your 4 questions.
Right now, your questions are very wordy + too qualifying. We want to avoid both.
If you haven’t already, I’d like you to watch Halle’s “4 QUESTIONS” video in the Transformational Business Strategy Module. This will explain further why you don’t want to ask personal and qualifying questions.
Let’s make you Q1 short and straight to the point.
1) Great to connect ‘NAME’… what’s your core business?
2) Perfect. What’s your main focus this year?
For Q3, we can add your question or you can use the one I made below it.
Q3: Fantastic. If I could show you a way to increase employee engagement and decrease employee exits without costing you more, would that be of interest to you?
OR
3) Love that! If I had a few simple strategies that would help you accomplish that, would you like me to share those with you?
4) Fantastic. What are a few time windows that you have available tomorrow to chat?

I am getting more detailed responses when I start with Q2, which I slightly tweaked to, “Hi Cindy, Thanks for connecting. Quick question: What’s your core focus for next year?
I did get a detailed reply from Q1: What’s Your Core Business. It was a good one, so I am not giving up on Q1.
I did get a lovely reply from a CEO for Q1. His response: “If you had looked, you would know what my core business is.” Kind of snarky, but I responded nicely and talked about how similar companies in his space are focusing on various elements of their core business and I mentioned some of those focuses. We’ll see if he replies…..
I am also getting many connections (and thank you’s) when I send a free copy of my subscriber-only bulletin. I am adding in Q2 with that initial gift.
