Hi, (#1) is there a system for keeping track of where I left off in sending and responding to my 4 Questions on LinkedIn?
Some people are on Q1 some on Q2, Q3 etc…and I’ve noticed that I’ve asked Q1 to a few of the same people more than once :-/
Also, when they respond and ask their own questions (#2) do I answer their questions along with asking my on next sequential question?
(#3) Do I ask different questions for the people that I’m “connecting” with that I already know? asking the same 4 questions is a little odd, as we both know that I know that answers already…(do you live in the area? How long etc…)
Hi, @veda-wood – so sorry we missed this question!
There IS a spreadsheet for tracking in Excel – but YEP, you are rolling this one by hand. @tony-liddic or @matt-barcus can direct you to this.
If someone asks YOU a question, just RESPOND in a phrase or single sentence and then jump right back to the next question!
You can choose different questions for those you know. Like:
Q1: What’s your core focus for 2018?
Q2: Are you accepting new clients?
Q3: I’d love to hear how I can help because I’m referring folks all the time – let’s jump on the phone for a quick chat! What are a couple good times?
YOU are growing your referral network HUGELY through LinkedIn, so this is TRUE and you may be able to help! Don’t be afraid to connect like this with those you know – note that you are using only 3 questions in this sequence because you already know them.
No worries and thank you for your response. @negeen-dargahi and @tony-liddic answered me and provided me with the spreadsheet.
I do like your revised 3 Questions for those that I already know.
