So far I am struggling with how long I will work with my current avatar. Initial doubts about whether my perfect client visits linked in have been reinforced by my results with the Barker 20. Over the past few weeks I have made consistent efforts at connecting. When requests are sent to non-retired persons, on average, I get a 1 out of 5 or 6 acceptance. (20%). When I sent requests for connection to retired people over almost 500 contacts over consecutive days my acceptance ratio was 6 out of 100. (6 % ).   I am reluctant to change my avatar   considering the work involved.  Your thoughts??

In Kent’s profile, there’s a box just below the headline that says “Providing Services” and when open says:

I can’t find where to add that to my profile. OK, where ya hiding it?

I did a client Avatar, but definitely a little stuck on how to find them or what groups to look for etc. Let myself get stuck on this for almost awhile and it’s preventing the whole “massive action” part so I’m finally admitting it on here and asking for help. 😀 The fact that I had the courage to ask for help counts as a win lol 😂 Also, may or may not be tremendously overthinking and stuck on the informercial lol. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Preface:  This is Jaime!!  I am the assistant of Tisha Brandes from Brandes Insurance Agency.  

My 5 Questions:

1. I want to focus on obtaining clients in areas that are at least 50 miles away from where Brandes Insurance Agency is located which is in Flower Mount, TX.  Is there a way for me to focus on connecting with clients in surrounding areas rather than my current area?
2.  When connecting to others on LinkedIn (per the suggested 17 – 23 per day), do I go through my current connections and find connections within their connections?
3. The All Star profile – is this something you have to work toward where only LinkedIn can upgrade you to an All Star profile?  The video in regard to updating your LinkedIn profile was based on an All Star profile.  I couldn’t find one of the features within my Premium profile, for example, turning off the option “Viewers of this profile also viewed.”
4. If you have multiple niches, do you eventually change your profile slightly so that it is geared toward multiple niches?  Does your profile change slightly based on each niche?
5. Are there any insurance agents currently in the program?  Could you give an example of other insurance agents that have already went through the program?

@matt-barcus – I just watched this part in the video but I don’t have the “Providing Services” section anywhere and cannot find where it’s hidden to be able to choose this option. Maybe Steve is having the same luck and that’s why it seems extra sneaky squirrel and hidden lol? It’s nowhere under Add Profile Section either…

When trying to update my profile, the “Providing Services” box does not appear, so I don’t have an option to update or add it? I understand how, but there’s not an option on my profile or no box to change?

@matt-barcus @steve-rath Same boat!!! Dying to know lol. I have the Sales Nav trial if that helps 🙂

If you look at my profile, you’ll see that box isn’t there.

I looked into this for you and it looks like you have to request this new feature on LinkedIn.

Click the link below, click on the highlighted words SMP Group and it will take you to a new tab and from there, you will be asked to join a group, and then you’ll have the feature show up on your profile the following day.
