Great to connect, NAME, what is your CORE business?

Perfect, Do you live in Naples or in SW Florida?  IF NO, have you ever had the opportunity to vacation here or do you know anyone who does live here?

That’s great!  I have a large network that may benefit you.

I may be old school, but I think it will be beneficial to spend a few minutes tomorrow to see how to help you or what connections I can help you with.

What are a few time windows we can talk tomorrow?

What is your mobile #?  I look forward to speaking with you then.

Hey @jim-westerfield! These are GREAT – one tip though…

You want to remain alpha and in control. When you say a comment like “I may be old school” it automatically puts you down and puts the control of the conversation in their hands and we don’t want that. We want you to lead the convo.

Instead just remove that and say:

Love it! I have a couple awesome strategies that are perfect for you! What are a couple time windows you have available to chat?

            Thanks Negeen.

I have a question for you:

Is the WHOLE GOAL of the Trojan Horse Questions to get a conversation with them?  Even if I personally have NOTHING to offer to help them, such as a couple of awesome strategies?

I am new to the whole Linked in process, so please help me understand my goal with this conversation.

            Much Thanks!

            Jim

Hey @jim-westerfield! I’m glad you asked – the 4 questions are a way to build rapport so that you can get them on the phone with you where you will then qualify them. You don’t want to waste valuable time sorting through connection to see who qualifies, that’s why we recommend asking the questions to everyone. You can avoid your direct “competitors” of course but everyone else, I recommend reaching out to.

Halle talks more about this in the 4 Questions video in the Transformational Business Strategy Module (with the bulls eye).

                Does that make sense??
