Hi @kristy-deegan – while I wasn’t on the call to hear the tips that @halle- and @kent-littlejohn provided, I can however show you below how to add a photo to LinkedIn.
You can upload any document such as your hero story as an article.
If you just want to upload a photo, you would click to upload image.
All you have to do is sign into your LinkedIn, on the home screen- Click “Write an article” located in the post-creation box in the middle of your homepage.
Write or paste in your article, add a headline, image, and format as desired, then press the blue “Publish” button in the top-right corner of the screen.
OK, @kristy-deegan what I said was to not send the article you were in to another news outlet. You can send a press release (designed to GET news printed) to anyone you would like. In fact, these days, outlets can be lazy enough to print the release AS a story, something you should consider when you are writing it.
To be clear. IL should rewrite the news release as if it’s a story from me vs the one from POWER Mag. To be written as a story that would have a call to action. Is that right?
