          Going through mindset and momentum, and watched Kent’s video on reaching out and starting conversations with current connections. I’m having a hard time seeing how to make this work for my niche. Maybe my niche is too specific.

          My question is, I don’t know if I should be starting these conversations with many of my current connections… Many are people I know through my insurance industry, and so to some extent it would be trying to network to build my business using my competitors.

          Also, for the most part my business is local; if I was to get on the phone with a connection on the other side of the country, it would be hard to work with them or have them refer business to me.

          Should I be trying to build up better connections by connecting with people I think might be a better business fit, and then messaging them?
