Hi @steve-hennessy! A really nice job taking action on your LinkedIn profile! Below is my feedback:

Profile Photo: Great photo, but it would look more professional with a white background. Go ahead and email our graphic designer, Lindsey, and ask her to add that for you! Zoom in a bit more.

You also need a better background photo (the blue rectangle behind your photo). I want you to also email Lindsey and tell her a little about your field of business and she can create something for you to use!

          Lindsey@coredm.com

          Headline:

A really great start on your headline! I’d like to fine-tune it a bit to really make it stand out.

          How about this:

Want GUARANTEED Income For Life That’s PROTECTED From Market Losses WITHOUT Worry?☆ EXPERT Financial Advisor☆☞MSG Me!

          OR

          Want _______ WITHOUT _______? ☆EXPERT _____ Helping Clients _____☆☞MSG Me!

          Summary:

Because your first 2 sentences are the most important, you want to avoid starting it off with:

“Here are the top 7 reasons that people meet with me

There’s far too much emphasis in here on YOU and not enough on THEM (as the first sentence, which is the most important).

I also want to remind you that this is a sales letter so having a numbered list will not keep your reader’s attention. You want to lead them through your message to have them connect with you.

Consider having your summary follow what Kent’s looks like (which we teach in the program):

          https://www.linkedin.com/in/klittlejohn/

Try starting your summary off saying:

WHAT I DO IN A FEW WORDS:

I help clients like YOU _________.

          Essentially…

When you work with me ___________.

          Sounds great right?

          WHO I WORK WITH: ____, _______, _______.

(the rest you can find on Kent’s profile and add your information to his format)

You want to provide information that is:

Telling your readers WHO you work with, HOW you help them and WHY they should work with you (but NOT through a numbered list).

          Call To Action:

Instead of saying “feel free to call or text” – let’s become the benevolent alpha.

If you’re READY for _______ then message me here on LinkedIn to see if we’re a good fit!

Please tag me in your revision! 🙂
