So we get an invitation to connect accepted, go through the 4 questions, talk on the phone and discover not a fit or possibly never talk on the phone – what is the recommendation of how to keep track of who we have gone down the path with already so as to not contact them with the process again?

Hi @rich-steffen, yes, you are correct!!
As far as keeping track goes, here are a few options:
- Based on the “Barker 20” which was created by a member in the program that emphasizes on 20 minutes a day, 20 first questions, 20 responses, 20 connections a day. (There is a video on this in the Transformational Business Strategy called Barker 20).
Halle made a template you can fill out based on this structure. Just click on the link below and read the post by Halle:

- Another option is to track it in a spreadsheet of who you connected with. This will be easier if you download your connections via LinkedIn and keep track that way (Matt can go into detail on how to track this – on the live call)

Thanks for your response, but need to restate as I don’t think I was clear enough.
I have listened to the Barker 20 video and review the Excel sheet. On that sheet we just log time, number of questions initiated and appts made.
My question was, is there a need to keep track of the names of those we go through the 4 Questions exercise with that do not turn into appts? Or are we not worrying about accidentally sending out Question 1 again to the same person? Is this a dumb question?

Hi @rich-steffen! My apologies, I understand your question now.
You can keep track of those that don’t turn into appts and can make a note to follow up with those individuals in a couple weeks to revisit.
This isn’t required but if this is something you’d like to track, do so.
Also, if you are worried about sending Q1 to someone you’ve already messaged, it should actually show up in your message history. So, you’ll already see if you’ve messaged someone or not.
Does this answer your questions?
