I have no idea where to post something like this so I just picked this forum.

I really value the support and feedback and lessons from the amazing people who are a part of HECP! 

that said – I learned a valuable lesson today – AGAIN! hopefully, it will stick this time!

Yes, I do my Barker20 but I strayed and paid! I decided I knew better what my connections wanted to hear.  I wanted to reconnect with ppl who had ignored my core biz questions some months ago.  Instead of just sending it again, I decided I would create a better question altogether and essentially skip a step.  MY question cut to the chase…”let’s hop on a call” and a few more words of my very own.

Thanks to my mindset coaching, it didn’t take long for the universe to let me know I had gotten off the path of least resistance!

Pretty soon into my “cc/paste cc/paste” effort w/ MY new question, I got a reply!

YAY! Right?

No.

That was the reply – “No thank you.“

This is the second time I have done this.  The first time was shortly after I began the program.  I went from getting lots of Q1 replies to practically ZERO replies after adding a few of MY words to the core biz question.  It was crazy but when I went back to what had been working (Kent’s language!), the replies starting up again.

What have I learned? Stick to the plan! Specifically, I also learned that you should not assume that someone saw your first “first question” simply bc they didn’t reply.  Most likely they didn’t even notice it. And, even if they did, they have long since forgotten it!

So, I literally messaged my “No, thank you” connection and started over! (with an apology).  Probably won’t make a difference but I feel better and I’m thankful she let me know how rude I had been.

That’s my lesson for the day.  I think I’ll go back to LI and do that Barker20 thing.
