        @halle-eavelyn

I’m not sure I am connecting with the right people on LinkedIn.

        Here’s my Avatar.

        Client Name: Richie
        Client Age: 40
        Client Gender: Male
        Client Annual Income: 150000
        Client Geographic Location: Iowa
        1. What keeps them awake at night; what are they afraid of?: I do not like debt of any kind.
        2. What might they be angry or upset about?: I don’t get angry or upset. I am a positive person and do not sweat the small stuff.
        3. What could be their typical daily frustrations?: Not having enough hours in a day to complete everything.
        4. What do they secretly desire?: I wish to see my children grow up having a personal relationship with God.
        5. What trends are occurring and will occur in their business or lives?: My company allows me to work from home. Our customers contact me by Text. We use chatbots to assist our customers. I have a Standing Desk. My company uses Augmented Reality. My customer service has the “Human Touch”.
        6. What is their lingo or technical jargon?: I use BOL Transportation Logistics in house but not necessarily with my customers.
        7. Who else is selling something similar to them, and how?: My customers are also my competitors because they sell the same commodities. Price is King.

Hi @rilaine-johnson! Hope you had a safe trip back.

The above must be your avatar. Start connecting with people on LinkedIn by sending out your Q1 to anyone and everyone you’re connected to. From there, you will start getting responses. Then, when you speak to them on the phone, you can see if the two of you are the right fit.

          Does that answer your concerns?

@rilaine-johnson, OK, I’ve got the avatar.  Now… what are the stats of who you have been reaching out to? How many daily, what’s the response level been like, etc? The Perfect Client form works well to get them in your head, but this type of client is not searchable on LinkedIn – I mean, they exist, but you cannot drill down to this type of person just from the search.  However, there might be some possible searches contained in some of your form.  Like: Augmented Reality.  Do they have jobs where they would state that? Do they have jobs that would include “BOL transportation logistics”? Could you try searching on those 2 phrases and see what comes up?

Post your feedback here, come to the Tuesday call, and let’s get you rocking forward!

Hi! Halle,  Thanks for the review.  When I first joined the program I sent out 40 invites my first week and connected with 8 and I froze up.

After completing my avatar I got more consistent with the Barker 20 the last week of August and had 36 connections, had 17 reply to 1st question, had 2 phone conversations with HEC realtors, 4 reply to 2nd question.

First week of September I sent 30 connection requests, had 3 connections, and they never responded to the 1st question.  The rest of September kicked my butt due to sickness.

The two days before my face surgery I sent out 30 connection requests, had 6 connect, 3 replied to 1st question.

Since Summit I’ve requested 60 connections, had 13 connect, 8 were HECP, sent 5 1st qestions..no replies yet.

I been sending connection requests to Lawyers, HR, IT, Mortgage, Bankers, CEO, Partners, COO, CFO who have been on Linkedin within the last 30 days.  I’m still learning navigator in linkedin.  I know getting consistent with the Barker 20 is going to bring results.  One of my morning declarations is:  I am setting 5 or more appointments this week!!

I not able to be on the call on Tuesday because I have an 8 hr continuing ed course that day.

My avatar is a Gasoline salesman so BOL means A “bill of lading” is basically a receipt from shipper of goods (you) provided to the carrier (trucking, railroad, ship or air freighter) that is then in turn signed by the receiver upon delivery. It is designed to protect the shipper, carrier, and receiver of freight being transported.

I know fear is my greatest thorn in the side.  One of my morning declarations in the mirror is:  I am fearless!!!
