Q1. Great to connect! What is your specialty? or Do you have a specialty?

Q2. Nice. Have you ever thought about writing a book?

Q3a. Cool! If I could show you a way to become a published author and become known as the authority in your community would that be of interest to you?

        or

Q3b. Cool! If I could show you how to become a published author and use a book to grow your practice, would that be of interest of you?

Q4. Let’s chat. What time works for you tomorrow?

P.s. I’m messaging dentists to provide them the opportunity to become a coauthor with other dentists, so asking what is their core business doesn’t make much sense.

Personally I like Q3a better, but I’m not sure if dentists understand the benefits of being the authority in their community.

Also, I don’t see how useful it would be to reach out to all my current connections. I see the value in building relationships, but I’d spent a lot of time chatting with people who are not my target market, which will be fun, but not very productive.

Hi, @shamayah-neveling What a unique and intriguing business you have!

I agree that asking “what is your core business” to dentists might not make sense. Asking their speciality definitely fits better here.

Q3a and b are both good questions, however, Q3b would grab the attention of more people because you specifically mention growing their practice. When you get them on the phone and/or meet with them you can talk about how being a published author will make them an authority in their field.

Your other questions sound great! I’m excited to hear about your success!
