        @negeen-dargahi @kent-littlejohn  @halle-eavelyn

I just completed my LinkedIn profile. I was not entirely sure who to “tag,” but would very much appreciate feedback.

I followed a similar set-up to Kent’s for the “summary.”  One question I have is if it shows enough of “me”/works well for what I am doing.   If there are suggestions of how I could better highlight qualities such as intuition, listening, being someone clients can count on, gentleness, spaciousness, compassion/care/empathy, etc.  I’m not sure if this comes across well in this set-up…and also if I “stand out” enough in this description.

Also any sections that could be better to “stand out” or general suggestions would be very much appreciated.  This is all very new to me!

        Thank you and loving care,

        Kathryn

Hi @kathryn-rimstidt! First off, NICE start on your LinkedIn profile! I know this is all new, but don’t worry, I’m happy to provide you with great feedback to make sure it really stands out.

          Background Photo:

I like your tagline “Helping You SHIFT anxiety, overwhelm and stress.” Although, I really don’t like your background. It doesn’t look professional.

We have a full-time graphic designer who has loads of stock images and can create a better image for you.

Please email her, tell her about your field of business and if you want your tagline added and she will create something super for you!

          Profile Photo:

I’m not crazy about the purple border. Again, let’s keep it simple and professional. Please remove that.

          Headline (words under your name):

YES YES YES! 2 things: take out the star in the very beginning of your headline and fully capitalize “WITHOUT” so it really pops.

          Summary:

Your summary looks really nice, I’m very proud of you!! There are some spacing and formatting issues. I will restructure it for you. I also took out a lot of your “i” and replaced it with “you”.Please just fill in the blanks:

BELOW I HAVE REFORMATTED YOUR SUMMARY, PLEASE FILL IN THE BLANKS. YOU CAN COPY AND PASTE THIS IN YOUR SUMMARY:

WHAT I DO IN 15 WORDS OR LESS!

I Help YOU Gain Freedom From Anxiety and Overwhelm,
While Deepening Love and Self Trust.

          Essentially…

You will learn how to RE-BUILD your internal and external support, INCREASE JOY in your life,  GAIN self-trust, and shift your anxiety and stress!

          YEP. You heard that right!

Eliminate the worry and “hugeness” of your anxiety, overwhelm, and stress by SHRINKING it so it no longer RUNS your life.

Doesn’t that sound like something you’d like? To take back control of your mind and thoughts?

          Absolutely!

          WHO I WORK WITH:

Women who are doing their best to support a loving life for other in their businesses and homes, whose lives are at times dominated by overwhelm, anxiety, or stress, and who want more love-centered lives. [PLEASE FIX THE SENTENCE ABOVE, IT IS A RUN ON SENTENCE)!!!

HERE’S WHAT MY CLIENTS HAD TO SAY:

☆ “Kathryn is thoughtful with a capital T….She has carefully honed that highly sought after skill of really listening….Kathryn provides consistently encouraging feedback and accountability when needed in a caring manner. She models wellness herself and has a creative and gentle soul…It has been a joy to work with her on my personal goals.” ☆

☆ “It’s so nice to have an advocate who’s on my side right in the neighborhood, because it really feels like that.'” ☆

          HERE’S THE DIFFERENCE:

The first thing we will do together is to GROW your social network and SUPPORT for yourself. Best part? I have “been there,” shifting my own panic attacks, and will be there, consistently for you.

With my support, a long-term client kept herself out the hospital! Even when all the signs pointed to her going there. You no longer have to worry or have feared this will happen to you.

==> HERE’S YOUR RESPONSIBILITY AND YOUR GUARANTEE

When YOU work with ME, I give you gentle options and find what works for you as long as you can commit at least 15 action-taking minutes each day. THAT IS IT!

If you’re not making the progress you want, or we determine it isn’t a fit for any reason, any time in the first fourteen days, you get your money back, and the progress you will have made you will keep.

If you’re READY to take back control of your life…send me a MESSAGE or CALL ME 317-514-1462, and let’s chat to explore your next steps!

          Loving care-Kathryn

            @negeen-dargahi

I did post my revision. However, even with deleting parts of what you suggested, it only fits without line-breaks.  So, if you can suggest some more things to cut out that would be great and then either make other comments now or later.  But, I didn’t really want to cut a whole section or things you had added that emphasized the “you” aspect.  I thought about cutting the second recommendation and if there were a way to work in who I serve without taking up so much space.  Open to other suggestions.

I went ahead and updated it linkedin.com/in/kathryn-eh-rimstidt.  Imperfect action-taking especially because the time I have free to focus on homework today is coming to an end.

Also, can you re-send (or check) the e-mail address you gave me?  It returned as not being a correct address.  Thanks so much and loving care,

            Kathryn

              Hi @kathryn-rimstidt!

I understand! How about you take out the following, THEN fix the spacing as I’ve done above for you:

              YOUR RESPONSIBILITY AND YOUR GUARANTEE:
When YOU work with ME, I give you gentle options and find what works for you as long as you can commit at least 15 action-taking minutes each day. THAT IS IT!

You could also try wordcounter.net and put it in there – the summary wordcount limit is 2000 characters.

              Hope this helps!

                Negeen,

I was able to leave most of everything in (took out the part about 15-minute action taking that you had said was a part that might be fine to take out), and get the spacing as I think you recommended.  I could switch it out or look over other suggestions you might have.  Here’s the update: linkedin.com/in/kathryn-eh-rimstidt.   I have an e-mail sent to Lindsey and can send you an update after the banner/background is done too.

Thanks so much! and loving care,
                Kathryn

Sorry. I was just wanting to let you know, @negeen-dargahi, that I made a content change in response to an audio and wasn’t sure if it was a “good” one or not…. linkedin.com/in/kathryn-eh-rimstidt
