Will LinkedIn free version allow me to search by location and Industry and will it also allow me to join groups? Thanks.

@dan-mena Free LinkedIn will allow you to search by Industry and Location. However, location is limited to cites/states…Sales Navigator provides the ability to search by zipcode. Free LinkedIn also allows you to join groups!

When I send a Linked In request, should I send a custom note along with it? Or should I just send the connection request and jump into the 4 questions once it is approved?

@eric-calciano Hi Eric! We recommend that you just send out the default invite versus a custom note. Then once they connect, start with your four questions! That being said, if you have something in common with the person you are trying to connect with, feel free to mention that in the request (like if you share a common connection, went to same university, etc.).
