Hi Kent,
Please take a look at my LinkedIn profile now. It is now at a 6th-grade level now.
Please let me know your thoughts now since I changed my headline and profile summary.
Thanks,
Bill

Hi @bill-toujouse!
Few things I noticed that I’d like you to make changes on:
I’d like you to have a custom background banner. What you currently have is good but I’d like you to email our graphic designer, Lindsey, and have her create a custom banner for you. This will really make it look professional.
Your profile photo is good – Lindsey can also ADD a white background to your profile photo to make it stand out. Like what Kent has on his profile.
REVISE the sentence below – it’s broken and isn’t a complete sentence:
Ken Alger, who owns a custom millwork company in Rhode Island. Ken used this system within the first three months in his business. Now, he is more profitable than before.
How about this:
Ken Alger, who owns a custom millwork company in Rhode Island, used our system for his business within the first three months. He is more profitable than before!!
^ if you have a specific percentage or numbers that would be more powerful to add to your testimonials.
Good work, please make these changes and tag me!

Hi Negeen,
I did make the change this morning, and I will be emailing Lindsey this morning about the banner and my picture.
So far, I did send out 100 new connection requests and on the follow-up LI message, I did put Ken’s suggestion of ‘what is your core business?” No one has connected with me yet out of those 100 that I sent out yesterday. 🙁

@bill-toujouse… Pay CLOSE attention here please.
As I have said in ALL trainings and coaching calls… You send a connection request with ONLY the pre-populated LinkedIn wording. Do NOT change it.
AFTER they accept your connection request, you then message them Q1… “Great to connect NAME…. what’s your core business?” OR “Great to connect NAME…. Do you focus on commercial or residential?”

That is exactly what I have done. This was not my LI request message.
This was after they connected with me. then I have sent out the message:
First name – great to connect with you! What is your core business, residential or commercial?
Cheers,Bill
@negeen-dargahi @halle-eavelyn
That is what I have sent out, but none have reacted to my follow-up message which is above.

Do it exactly like this please.
“Great to connect NAME…. Do you focus on commercial or residential?”
Remove the ‘cheers, bill’
Change your headline @bill-toujouse – “🛑 STOP Over-Paying in TAXES! 🛑 Want To Keep YOUR (Hard-Earned) CASH? 🔥 MESSAGE ME!”

Kent,
I just sent out 100 new LI connection requests. Waiting on who replies to my follow-up message…
So far no one responded to my follow-up message.

Hi @bill-toujouse, first off, good work implementing what Kent has suggested!
Please continue to reach out daily.
We’d like to see you take this action for 2 weeks, log the data, and note what questions people are responding to and where they are dropping (if they are not responding back).
It is early to tell how the response rate is – so please, give it time.
If you get responses where people are not interested, do not let it set you back. Thank them for their time and keep moving forward.
Good work!

I have received a few responses to what Kent had suggested.
@kent-littlejohn, what do I do now when they have responded commercial or residential?

Hi @bill-toujouse – in regards to the commercial or residential, what would you typically answer to that?
Go ahead and answer!
What would be better is to answer and then use one of the questions to get them on the phone with you in order to see how you can best help them!

@negeen-dargahi @kent-littlejohn
That is what I was asking. Kent had a phrase that I cannot remember. What would be the question is what I wanted to know.

Hi @bill-toujouse! Absolutely!
Here are a few options you could choose from that best fit with you business:
—
Love it! I have a couple of awesome [ideas] that are perfect for you! What are a couple of time windows you have available to chat?
Fantastic. What are a few time windows that you have available tomorrow to chat?
That’s great! Let’s chat for a few minutes. I have a fairly big network that may benefit you.
—
The idea is to say something short and sweet to get them on the phone with you in order to THEN qualify them and get them excited to move forward with you.
